Each Document level allowance (BG-20) shall have a Document level allowance VAT category code (BT-95).

Explanation

An allowance on the invoice total reduces the taxable amount of a particular VAT category, so it must state which category it belongs to, for example standard rate or exempt.

How to fix

Ask the seller for a corrected invoice that states the allowance's VAT category.
