Explanation

The invoice gives an electronic address of the buyer for receiving e-invoices, but no code saying what kind of address it is, for example EM for an e-mail address or 0204 for a Leitweg-ID, the routing address of German public-sector buyers. Invoicing software normally sets this code.

How to fix

Ask the seller for a corrected invoice that states the type of the buyer's electronic address. When it is missing, the seller's invoicing software is usually the cause.
