Validation message

An Invoice that contains an Invoice line (BG-25), a Document level allowance (BG-20) or a Document level charge (BG-21) where the VAT category code (BT-151, BT-95 or BT-102) is "IGIC" shall contain in the VAT breakdown (BG-23) at least one VAT category code (BT-118) equal with "IGIC".

Explanation

At least one line, allowance or charge is in the IGIC category, the Canary Islands indirect tax. The VAT breakdown must then also contain an entry for IGIC. The error can also appear when the breakdown has an IGIC entry but no line, allowance or charge of that category exists.

How to fix

Ask the seller for a corrected invoice in which the lines and the VAT breakdown agree on the IGIC category. If the supply wasn't taxed in the Canary Islands at all, the category is wrong.
