In a Document level allowance (BG-20) where the Document level allowance VAT category code (BT-95) is "IGIC" the Document level allowance VAT rate (BT-96) shall be 0 (zero) or greater than zero.

Explanation

A document-level allowance in the IGIC category must state its VAT rate. It must be above 0%; some invoice formats also accept 0%, none a negative or missing rate.

How to fix

Ask the seller for a corrected invoice with the applicable IGIC rate. If no IGIC rate applies to the supply, check whether the category is right.
