Validation message

Value added tax point date (BT-7) and Value added tax point date code (BT-8) are mutually exclusive.

Explanation

The invoice states both the date on which VAT becomes chargeable (the tax point date) and a code saying how that date is determined (such as by invoice date or delivery date). EN 16931 allows only one of the two, because otherwise they can contradict each other.

How to fix

Ask the seller for a corrected invoice that states either the date or the code, not both.
