Explanation
The EN 16931 standard allows at most two decimal places for monetary amounts: line amounts, allowances and charges and their base amounts, totals, tax amounts, the amount already paid, the rounding amount and the amount due. Quantities, unit prices and percentages are exempt. Trailing zeros count too: 100.000 is not allowed any more than 99.995. Such amounts cause rounding differences when the invoice is recalculated.
How to fix
Ask the seller for a corrected invoice with the amounts rounded to two decimal places. The cause is usually the seller's invoicing software rather than something typed in.
This field is required by §14 Abs. 4 Nr. 7 UStG. A missing or incorrect value may affect input VAT deduction (Vorsteuerabzug) for the recipient.
