Explanation

The French e-invoicing rules allow only certain document type codes: 380, 389, 393, 501, 386, 500, 384, 471, 472, 473, 261, 262, 381, 396, 502 and 503, among them 380 invoice, 381 credit note, 384 corrected invoice, 386 prepayment invoice and 389 self-billed invoice. This applies to this invoice and to the type of an earlier invoice that it or one of its lines refers to. The requirement comes from the French e-invoicing rules, not from EN 16931.

How to fix

Ask the seller for a corrected invoice with one of these codes. For a normal invoice this is 380, for a credit note 381.
