Explanation
The French e-invoicing rules require amounts (totals, VAT breakdown, line amounts, allowances and charges) to have at most two decimals, a point as the decimal separator and at most 19 characters, not counting the decimal point. A minus sign is allowed; other characters such as thousands separators are not.
How to fix
Ask the seller for a corrected invoice. How numbers are written is usually decided by the invoicing software, not by what was typed in; the seller will usually have to take it up with the software's vendor.
