In a Document level charge (BG-21) where the Document level charge VAT category code (BT-102) is "Zero rated" the Document level charge VAT rate (BT-103) shall be 0 (zero).
Explanation
At least one document-level charge is in the 'zero rated' category. Its VAT rate must then be 0.
How to fix
Check whether the category is right. Ask the seller for a corrected invoice with a VAT rate of 0%, or with the appropriate category if VAT is due.
This field is required by §14 Abs. 4 Nr. 8 UStG. A missing or incorrect value may affect input VAT deduction (Vorsteuerabzug) for the recipient.
