Validation message

If both supplier and customer are located in Germany, "Seller contact email address" (BT-43) should contain exactly one @-sign, which should not be framed by a whitespace or a dot but by at least two characters on each side. A dot should not be the first or last character.

Explanation

When seller and buyer are both located in Germany, PEPPOL applies the German XRechnung requirements: the email address of the seller's contact point must contain exactly one @ and no spaces. The part after the @ must contain a dot and must not start or end with one; two dots in a row aren't allowed there either.

How to fix

Ask the seller for a corrected invoice that states a valid email address for its contact point; usually it is a typo.
