If seller is icelandic then it shall contain sellers legal id — Ef seljandi er íslenskur þá skal reikningur innihalda íslenska kennitölu seljanda (BT-30).

Explanation

When the seller's address is in Iceland, the invoice must state its kennitala, the Icelandic registration number for people and companies. It belongs in the seller's legal registration identifier and must be marked as a kennitala (code 0196); a number without this marking is not enough.

How to fix

Ask the seller for a corrected invoice that states its kennitala as its legal registration identifier.
