Validation message

Norwegian organization number MUST be stated in the correct format.

Explanation

A number on the invoice – a party's electronic address, identifier or registration number – is marked as a Norwegian organisation number. It must consist of exactly 9 digits, without the country prefix NO or the suffix MVA; the last digit is a check digit. This number has a different format, or the check digit doesn't match.

How to fix

Ask the seller for a corrected invoice that states the correct organisation number, just the 9 digits. If it is the buyer's number, give the seller the correct one.
