Validation message

Belgian enterprise number MUST be stated in the correct format.

Explanation

A number on the invoice – a party's electronic address, identifier or registration number – is marked as a Belgian enterprise number (KBO/BCE). It consists of exactly 10 digits, without dots and without the country prefix BE; the last two digits are check digits. Older 9-digit numbers are written with a leading 0.

How to fix

Ask the seller for a corrected invoice that states the enterprise number as 10 digits, such as 0123456749 instead of BE 0123.456.749. If it is the buyer's number, give the seller the correct one.
