Validation message

Allowance/charge base amount MUST be provided when allowance/charge percentage is provided.

Explanation

When an allowance or charge is given as a percentage, the base amount the percentage applies to must also be stated. Otherwise the amount can't be checked.

How to fix

Ask the seller for a corrected invoice that states the base amount for the percentage. This usually comes from the seller's invoicing software, not from data entry.
