Validation message

For Swedish suppliers using Bankgiro, the Account ID must have 7-8 characters

Explanation

If the seller is based in Sweden and gives Bankgiro as the payment route (credit transfer marked SE:BANKGIRO), the account number must be 7 or 8 characters long. A hyphen counts. The requirement comes from the Swedish rules of PEPPOL BIS Billing 3.0.

How to fix

Ask the seller for a corrected invoice with the 7- or 8-digit Bankgiro number, digits only. A payment to a wrongly stated number may fail.
