Explanation

Under EN 16931, amounts are stated with at most two decimal places. Every digit after the decimal point counts, trailing zeros included: 100.000 is as invalid as 99.995. Prices and price discounts per unit are exempt and may have more decimals.

How to fix

Ask the seller for a corrected invoice with all amounts rounded to two decimal places. Then check that the totals still add up.

This field is required by §14 Abs. 4 Nr. 7 UStG. A missing or incorrect value may affect input VAT deduction (Vorsteuerabzug) for the recipient.
