The Seller postal address (BG-5) shall contain a Seller country code (BT-40).

Explanation

The seller's postal address (BG-5) must include a country code (BT-40) as ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 — e.g., DE, FR, IT.

How to fix

Add the country code to the seller's address.

This field is required by §14 Abs. 4 Nr. 1 UStG. A missing or incorrect value may affect input VAT deduction (Vorsteuerabzug) for the recipient.
