Validation message

Sum of charges on document level (BT-108) = Σ Document level charge amount (BT-99).

Explanation

The stated sum of the charges on the whole invoice must equal the total of the individual charge amounts, rounded to two decimals. If the invoice has such charges, the sum must also be stated.

How to fix

Ask the seller for a corrected invoice in which the sum matches the individual charge amounts.

This field is required by §14 Abs. 4 Nr. 7 UStG. A missing or incorrect value may affect input VAT deduction (Vorsteuerabzug) for the recipient.
