Validation message

If both supplier and customer are located in Germany, the element "Seller contact telephone number" (BT-42) shall be provided.

Explanation

When seller and buyer are both located in Germany, PEPPOL applies the German XRechnung requirements: the seller's contact point must have a phone number, in addition to the email address. A central number is enough; it need not belong to a single person.

How to fix

Ask the seller for a corrected invoice that states a phone number for its contact point. Storing these details once in the invoicing software's company settings puts them on every invoice.
