Validation message

If both supplier and customer are located in Germany, the element "Seller contact email address" (BT-43) shall be provided.

Explanation

When seller and buyer are both located in Germany, PEPPOL applies the German XRechnung requirements: the seller's contact point must have an email address, in addition to the phone number. It is the usual channel for questions about the invoice. A shared address such as invoices@company.com is enough.

How to fix

Ask the seller for a corrected invoice that states an email address for its contact point. Storing these details once in the invoicing software's company settings puts them on every invoice.
