Validation message

If both supplier and customer are located in Germany, attached documents provided with an invoice in "ADDITIONAL SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS" (BG-24) shall have a unique filename (non case-sensitive) within the element ″Attached document″ (BT-125).

Explanation

When seller and buyer are both located in Germany, PEPPOL applies the German XRechnung requirements: every attachment embedded in the invoice must have its own file name. Duplicate names cause conflicts on the receiving side when the files are stored or displayed.

How to fix

Ask the seller for a corrected invoice in which every attachment has its own file name, for example by adding a sequence number.
