Allowance/charge amount must equal base amount * percentage/100 if base amount and percentage exists

Explanation

When an allowance or charge states both a base amount and a percentage, its amount must equal base amount × percentage / 100; rounding differences of up to 0.02 are accepted. A missing amount counts as 0.

How to fix

Ask the seller for a corrected invoice in which the amount, base amount and percentage agree. Check which figure is right before booking the invoice. This usually comes from the seller's invoicing software, not from data entry.
